Snow, Hawaii, and God's Law.

We had our first snow of the winter a few days back--after a remarkably and wonderfully warm end to 2011. We only got 6-8 inches, but that's a lot of shoveling when you have a drive as long as ours...
Fortunately, later this week my wife and I have the privilege of taking a brief trip to Hawaii to do some training and speaking on one of the islands. It will be nice to get away for a brief pause before all the activity commences at North Aurora. Our calendar for the months ahead is definitely full!
As a result of the last minute trip--we have postponed the launch of our upcoming KEY Conference on the Law of God to February. This series explores the spiritual principles embedded deep in the letter of the law and their implication to our life. It's been one of my most popular series.
If you are interested, be sure to sign up before February 1--our launch date. Just go to KEY Institute > KEY Conferences and look for the Law of God. It will give you a whole new perspective on the character of Christ. See you in the conference!
Wow! It sure looks impressive! I wonder if there will be snow in heaven/the new earth?

Taping for this Conference has begun at the N. Aurora Church prayer meeting. You will definitely want to enroll. It will challenge our spiritual maturity.
What Pastor Vis failed to mention is that he missed another 6in. snowfall. So while our beloved pastor and wife is soaking up the sunshine, we are having fun in the snow. Unfortunately, it won't last. Temps close to 40 today
